Everyone seems to be running to meet deadlines and prepare for new projects. Had a couple meetings this week with great new clients to talk about exciting new projects as well -more to come on that later! As part of my “farewell to Summer week” I wanted to share a couple camp brands we did for Long Hollow Baptist in Hendersonville, TN.  The client wanted something a rocket-themed design for Bible school and a rodeo theme for Summer camp. We were in charge of everything else from colors to logos. This is my favorite type of project because it allows me to fill the role of Art Director with the client. We decided to create retro illustrations and textures to bring them together. Thanks for checking ‘em out!

This time of year always leaves me a little melancholy. I remember being a kid and wishing for the long days to never end. I took this photo last Summer outside of the house where I grew up. I was there to catch the streetlight come on at dusk. This was once my “bat signal” to let me know it was time to climb down from the tree (or fort) for supper.

Each year I’m fortunate enough to design birthday cards for several different leaders at New Vision Baptist in Murfreesboro, TN. These go out to hundreds of students on their birthday that year. These projects always feature a photo shoot with a crazy theme. This week I’m working on 2 separate cards which I’ll be sure to include in an upcoming post.
